The Harvard Real Estate Alumni Organization is pleased to present an interactive discussion on residential development case studies on affordable housing, mixed-income housing, and senior housing development. The discussion will address development financing, entitlement, design/development/construction, and market positioning, featuring Greg Cullen, Derek Allen, and Frank Rockwood, and moderated by Macy Leung. Our speakers will discuss and share lessons learned on current and past residential projects through the lenses of the developer, owner/operator, and advisor.

Prior to founding HIG, Greg served as VP for ING Capital Corporation and Citicorp in the real estate investment bank and lending group.
Derek Allen (Affordable Housing/Mixed Income Housing), VP of Operations, ROEM Corporation.
Affordable Housing Case Study - The Lexington (368 Units Market Rate MFR, 128 Units Affordable MFR. The project is part of Hitachi (Santa Theresa) Master Plan in South San Jose.
Derek is responsible for the entitlement of new project opportunities, risk mitigation, the production of LIHTC models and securing of financial commitments in the overall production of an income-generating portfolio.
Frank Rockwood (Senior Housing), CEO, Rockwood Pacific.
Senior Housing Discussion - Housing Older Adults .
