Michael is the Director of Investments for Vanke Holdings USA LLC. Michael oversees the acquisition efforts of Vanke USA since the operation’s inception in 2013. Vanke currently has major projects in San Francisco and New York, with a total asset value forecast to exceed ~USD 3 billion.
Prior to joining Vanke, Michael worked on the acquisitions teams of Lane Capital Partners and Madison Capital originating, analyzing and executing core plus, value-add and opportunistic real estate investments, distressed loan acquisitions and commercial joint ventures in major US markets across all property types. Previously, Michael served as an acquisitions officer at DTZ Real Estate Investors and a loan originator at Eurohypo AG after beginning his career on Wall Street at Bear, Stearns & Co. as well as BlackRock, Inc. Michael holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School.

Golden Gate Global (GGG) channels foreign investment dollars into public and/or private projects in the US that create jobs for the US economy. GGG operates via a US federal program that helps to bring in foreign direct investment called the EB-5 Investment Immigration program. The intent of the EB-5 is to encourage the flow of capital into the U.S. economy and to promote employment of U.S. workers. Since 2008, over $12 billion of foreign direct investment has been deployed into the U.S. economy via the EB-5 Program. Currently, GGG manages eight investment funds with over $300 million in EB-5 funds raised, and is expanding its portfolio to finance additional projects in California.
Mike Hu has over 10 years of real estate and management consulting experience and is currently responsible for capital formation, co-investments, investor relations and marketing. Mr. Hu was previously a member of Gaw Capital Partners’ acquisitions and investment team based in Hong Kong, and formerly worked for Tishman Speyer in their London and New York offices, working in acquisitions, debt financing, restructuring, property and asset management, and construction and design. Mr. Hu received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics/International Area Studies with college and Latin honors from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Master of Business Administration from London Business School.
Zheng Huang is founder and Chairman of Immigration Capital, China's number one trusted end-to-end immigration investment firm, a trusted partner to Chinese investors as well as development and investment professionals in the United States. In this role, he oversees the Group's deal flow and guides investor outreach in China and deal selection in the US.
Borne out of the EB-5 immigration program in the US, Immigration Capital matches qualified Chinese investors with high growth, job creating projects and companies in the US for investments. Immigration Capital aims to bring to the US up to $500M annually in equity and debt financing through the EB-5 program.
Zheng was educated at Stanford University, with a M.S. in Computer Science, B.S. in Industrial Engineering, and B.A. in Economics. He also earned his MBA from Harvard Business School. Zheng serves as a Board member of the China Exploration Research Society. In his spare time, Zheng dabbles in exploration and contemporary arts. He will play basketball for work.
